The Rotary Club of Gympie proudly presents the prestigious Quilt & Craft Spectacular, now one of the largest quilting/ crafting events in South East Queensland.

The event showcases traditional, contemporary quilts and art quilts, crafted by award winning quilters, professionals and aspiring novices. There’s also stunning artisan exhibits, this year including the works of our amazing guest quilter Michele Hill; fabulous felting, creative basketry, millinery and embroidery; the ATASDA Qld presentation of Fibre & Textile Arts + an array of workshops, free demonstrations and over 45 diverse quilters/crafters and makers markets!

The Quilt & Craft Spectacular, held in Gympie’s Pavilion, is now under the banner of the Gympie Rotary HERITAGE MAKERS FAIR, which encompasses another 5 venues outside and around the Pavilion. These venues, with over 60 demonstrating makers, focus on heritage, rare and ancient crafts and include: the Heritage Trades venue; the Carbatec Woodcraft Arena; Domestic Arts venue, a Vintage Vehicle display and some very special shows – in the Wheelwright Arena, wheelwrighting demos and Clydesdale Country Shows are show-stoppers!
