The Rotary Club of Gympie is proud to be presenting the prestigious Quilt & Craft Spectacular, now one of the largest quilting/ crafting events in South East Queensland.

The event showcases traditional, contemporary quilts and art quilts, crafted by award winning quilters, professionals to aspiring novices. There’s also stunning artisan exhibits, free demonstrations, workshops and over 45 diverse quilters/crafters markets!

Now under the banner of Gympie Rotary’s Makers’ Fair, while you’re there, don’t miss all the heritage artisans around the Pavilion: Heritage Trades; the Woodcraft Arena; Domestic Arts and the Wheelwright Arena with it’s wheelwrighting demos and Clydesdale Country Shows!

The age-old craft of brewing….

Onsite, take a moment for some R&R – and discover, experience and enjoy new flavours in the age-old craft of brewing at the Craft Beer Open Door, a celebration of craft beer diversity and creativity.

With tasting paddles, tasting notes and a range of quality craft brews to try – from gentle to WOW! – the event caters to both the already-devoted lovers of craft brews and those who are curious and want to discover a different style of beer enjoyment.

With profits going to Little Haven Palliative Care, why not join us for some great camaraderie in a convivial atmosphere and enjoy sampling, tasting and discovering some interesting beer alternatives. Come on in!

The Quilt & Craft Spectacular occupies both floors of the Pavilion – the venue is wheelchair friendly and has a lift. There are handicapped toilets.

Wrapped around the outside of the Pavilion, meet over 50 heritage trades artisans in 4 venues: Heritage Trades; Woodcraft Arena; Domestic Arts; the Wheelwright Arena!


BUS GROUPS/ CHARTERS:

Buses welcome, entry can be fast-tracked by groups.

 One $15 ticket to the Makers Fair includes:

THE CAFES:

We will be well-dined and well-watered this year with 5 cafes/snackeries at the event:

Upper Floor of the Pavilion – the Imbil CWA Cafe will be offer their award-winning scones and a range of home-cooked treats, platters, cold drinks, wines and beers.

Lower Floor of the Pavilion – the catering crew of Little Haven Palliative Care are back, offering great choices of snacks and substantial gourmet delights, with teas, coffees and cold drinks.

The Hammer & Tongs Cafe, Turf Club Dining Room – hearty country cooking, sit-down and meals on the run – washed down with a cold Craft Beer, wine and cold drinks, the Set4Life girls are raising funds for this great cause, along with the Gympie Freemasons

Domestic Arts (Comets Stadium) – enjoy a selection of coffees, teas, cold drinks and Aussie traditionals, country hospitality on a plate, prepared by Monkland State School

And don’t forget! There’s snacks to go with craft beer – your choice of subtle to WOW – at the Craft Beer Open Door – experience, discover, enjoy!
