Fibre artist and renowned queen of freeform knitting, crochet, and yarn manipulation, Prudence Mapstone is an Australian Textile Artist whose medium is Freeform knitting and crochet. She has a passion for colour and texture, and combines simple craft skills and gorgeous yarns to create amazing, wearable artworks. Her work has been exhibited around the world, and has been featured in many magazines and textile arts books. Project: With Prudence, work with a coordinated colour palette, a cacophony of mixed yarns, styles and stitches to create quirky freeform shapes – and no two will be the same! – that will ultimately piece together to create a unified and stunning fabric.
