Fibre artist and renowned queen of freeform knitting, crochet, and yarn manipulation, Prudence Mapstone is an Australian Textile Artist whose medium is Freeform knitting and crochet. She has a passion for colour and texture, and combines simple craft skills and gorgeous yarns to create amazing, wearable artworks. Her work has been exhibited around the world, and has been featured in many magazines and textile arts books. She loves to help bring out the creativity in others by sharing her techniques at workshops and demonstrations. Her many creations are featured in the Gallery pages at www.knotjustknitting.com

Date: Sunday November 4, 10am – 12 noon

Project: With Prudence, work with a coordinated colour palette, a cacophony of mixed yarns, styles and stitches to create quirky freeform shapes – and no two will be the same! – that will ultimately piece together to create a unified and stunning fabric. 

Cost: $40 – includes kit with mixed yarns, notes to get you started and use of crochet hook and knitting needles
