SCRUMBLE BROOCH WITH PRUDENCE MAPSTONE
Fibre artist and master of freeform knitting, crochet and yarn manipulation, Prudence Mapstone has a passion for colour and texture, combining a mad mix of gorgeous yarns to create amazing artpieces. Internationally renowned, her has been featured in many magazines and textile arts books. Two of Prudence’s major works will be on display at the event, on the upper floor as part of The Gentle Arts showcase – you can’t miss it!
Project: Create a delightful “scrumble” brooch, similar to Prudence’s star brooch pictured, using selected yarns that work up neatly and show the stitches up well for ‘jewellery’.
Duration: 2 hours
