ANCIENT CRAFTS, RARE TRADES
An expo honouring the incredible artisans and makers of age-old workshop trades, rare field and household crafts, with a view to preserving these skills before they are lost to time and modern technology.
With many more exhibits being negotiated, confirmed to date are: Bookbinder Jan Ramsay’s exquisite handbound albums; Spoonsmith Deirdre Wilson’s Welsh Love Spoons; an amazing collection of vintage and handmade toys from a Blacksmith/ Metal Toymaker; Woodworkers crafted guitars, harps, scrollwork, more; Tatting, Lacemaking; Basketweaving from wonderfully Wild to Silky! PLUS a power-packed show with consummate showman Stan Ceglinski, traditional bushcrafter and musician with a passion to pass down the skills and traditions of yesteryear.
